OBERÁ, Argentina (Interstat) — The undefeated Ferro Carril Oeste hosts a struggling San Martin in an Argentinian Liga A matchup on Tuesday at Hector Etchart Arena.

Ferro Carril Oeste (3-0) enters the contest riding a wave of momentum after an 89-79 road victory over Racing de Chiv on Oct. 4. Leonel Valentin Bettiga led the way with 17 points and four rebounds, while Emiliano Lezcano added 15 points and five assists.

San Martin (2-2) looks to rebound from a two-game skid, having lost 81-65 to Gimnasia Indalo on Oct. 3 and 89-56 to Boca Juniors on Oct. 1. In the loss to Gimnasia Indalo, center Lautaro Berra Fernandez posted a team-high 13 points and five rebounds.

The teams are trending in opposite directions. Ferro Carril Oeste has averaged 91 points per game in its perfect start, while San Martin has been held to 65 points or fewer in both of its recent losses.
