BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (Interstat) — A surging Instituto Cordoba will look to extend its winning streak when it visits a struggling Platense in an Argentinian Liga A matchup Tuesday at Estadio Ciudad de Vicente Lopez.

Instituto (3-1) enters the contest on a high after a 91-82 victory over Boca Juniors last Tuesday. Keylan Boone led the way with 18 points and five rebounds, while Vicente Garello added 17 points. The team has won three straight since a season-opening loss.

Conversely, Platense (0-2) is still searching for its first win. It fell 97-87 to Boca Juniors on Oct. 4, despite 18 points from Juan Guerrero and a near double-double of 17 points and nine rebounds from Johnny Hughes.

The statistical service Interstat projects a lopsided affair, simulating a final score of Instituto Cordoba 136, Platense 100.

Following this game, Instituto will host San Lorenzo on Saturday. Platense’s next contest is on the road against Sante Fe on Oct. 24.
