SANTIAGO DEL ESTERO, Argentina (Interstat) — A pair of Argentine Liga A teams trending in opposite directions will meet Tuesday when Quimsa hosts Atenas at Estadio Ciudad de Santiago del Estero.

Atenas (3-3) enters the contest on a three-game winning streak, including an 87-71 victory over Boca Juniors on Saturday. The team’s offense has found its rhythm during the stretch, averaging 84.7 points per game after a sluggish start to the season.

Quimsa (2-2), meanwhile, looks to rebound from an 88-85 road loss to Peñarol on Oct. 8. The team’s performance has been inconsistent, sandwiching a 99-point offensive explosion against Argentino de Junin between narrow losses to Instituto Cordoba and Peñarol.
