BELO HORIZONTE, Brazil (Interstat) — Two teams trending in opposite directions will meet Monday when Bauru visits Cruzeiro in a Brazilian NBB matchup.

Bauru (3-3) arrives riding a three-game winning streak, including a 75-64 victory over Caxias Do Sul on Thursday. Center Andre Barbosa was dominant in that win, posting 23 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists. He has been a key figure in his team’s mid-season turnaround after a 1-3 start.

Cruzeiro (1-4), meanwhile, looks to halt a slide after dropping its last contest 84-76 to Minas on Saturday. Their lone victory this season came on Oct. 29, a narrow 71-69 road win against Pato Basquete. The team has struggled defensively, allowing an average of 87.4 points in its four losses.
