TIMISOARA, Romania (Interstat) — Rapid delivered a historic defensive performance in a 128-32 rout of CSUP Timisoara in a women’s professional basketball game Sunday. Rapid forced 30 turnovers, converting them into easy offense while holding the hosts to an anemic 26.5% shooting from the floor. The visitors were efficient, shooting 71.8% from the field and a perfect 13-for-13 from the free-throw line. Annemarie Gordi Parau led Rapid with 23 points and 15 assists.
