CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (Interstat) — The Chattanooga Lady Mocs used a dominant defensive performance and a game-high 20 points from guard Caia Elisaldez to cruise past the Western Carolina Catamounts 52-36 in a Southern Conference women’s basketball game Thursday night at McKenzie Arena. A crowd of 1,332 watched Chattanooga improve to 17-7 overall and maintain its position near the top of the conference standings. Western Carolina, struggling through a difficult season, fell to 3-23.
