(Interstat) — The Massachusetts women’s basketball team used a dominant first half to build an insurmountable lead and then weathered a spirited Buffalo rally to secure a 79-67 victory in a Mid-American Conference game Saturday at Alumni Arena. The Minutemen, improving to 13-3 overall, opened the game on a 14-0 run and led 24-10 after the first quarter.
