(Interstat) — The Chicago Maroons used a dominant defensive performance and a balanced scoring attack to secure a 65-47 road victory over the Wheaton Thunder in nonconference women’s basketball action Saturday at King Arena. The Maroons (8-2) never trailed, holding the Thunder to 31.1% shooting from the floor and forcing 17 turnovers, which they converted into 18 points.
