Shliger powers SeaWolves past Curve 9‑4

ALTOONA, Pa. (Interstat) — Luke Shliger homered and drove in three runs, leading the Erie SeaWolves to a 9-4 victory over the Altoona Curve on Friday night at Peoples Natural Gas Field. Shliger’s three-run home run in the sixth inning turned a 3-2 deficit into a 5-3 lead. Peyton Graham added an RBI single in the same inning, pushing Erie ahead 6-3. Erie added three runs in the eighth on run-scoring singles from Graham, Zyhir Hope and Izaac Pacheco. Graham finished 3-for-4 with two RBIs, and Pacheco went 2-for-4 with one RBI.
