(Interstat) — Corden Pettey pitched five scoreless innings and Dylan Kordic delivered a tiebreaking three-run home run in the fifth inning as Cal Poly defeated UC San Diego 4-3 on Sunday afternoon in the Big West Baseball Championship. Pettey, a right-hander, allowed three hits, struck out seven and walked none in a 73-pitch outing that set the tone for the Mustangs.
