(Interstat) — Tegan Kuhns struck out 15 batters over seven shutout innings and Blake Grimmer drove in two runs in the seventh as Tennessee defeated Texas 5-1 on Friday afternoon at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. The Volunteers improved to 33-17 overall. The Longhorns fell to 36-11. Kuhns allowed four hits and no earned runs while walking one.
