CORVALLIS, Ore. (Interstat) — Oregon State used a three-run sixth inning that included two unearned runs to defeat Texas-Rio Grande Valley 4-2 Tuesday night at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field. The Beavers improved to 34-9, while the Vaqueros fell to 19-25. Oregon State left-hander Trey Morris earned the win, pitching six shutout innings.
