GREENVILLE, N.C. (Interstat) — Luke Hemric delivered a dominant start and Luke Nixon provided the late power as North Carolina State cruised past East Carolina 10-3 in a nonconference baseball game Tuesday night at Clark-LeClair Stadium. The Wolfpack (25-12) broke open a tight game with a three-run eighth inning, highlighted by Nixon’s two-run homer, to secure a comfortable victory over the Pirates (22-15).
