(Interstat) — Zach Plasschaert’s first-inning grand slam immediately erased an early Pepperdine lead and propelled Fresno State to an 11-3 victory over the Waves on Monday night at Selland Arena, completing a three-game series sweep. The Bulldogs (4-3) sent nine men to the plate in the bottom of the first, turning a 3-0 deficit into a 4-3 advantage they would not relinquish.
