DECATUR, Ga. (Interstat) — The Georgia State Panthers overcame an early four-run deficit with a relentless offensive performance to defeat the New Orleans Privateers 10-6 on Friday evening at Georgia State Baseball Complex in the season opener for both teams. The Privateers struck first, capitalizing on a strong start. In the top of the fifth inning, trailing 4-2, New Orleans erupted for four runs to build a 6-2 lead.
