API v3 Documentation

Endpoints Code Lookup

Migrating From API v2

• API v3 utilizes the same simplified query structure as the premium Interstat API, making it easier than ever to write queries on the fly and make the most of hourly rate limits.

• Three endpoints from API v2 have been fully depreciated and are not included in API v3: rpi, social, tweets.

• The universal use of the term id has been discontinued in API v3. The term code indicates use with another endpoint: for example, GSW as a team code for Golden State Warriors, 15125 as a venue code for Chase Center, or 826 as a player code for Stephen Curry. The term id now implies a unique identifier for a data record.

• The max_results query parameter has been phased out. All queries return a maximum of 100 records, except for playbyplay, pitchfx, teamcodes, leaguecodes (500 records).

• All returned parameters are now in lowercase.

• Please test any queries and attempt alternate formats to view any applicable errors or status messages before contacting support.
