VINEYARD, Utah (Interstat) — A balanced offensive attack and a dominant third-quarter surge propelled the California Baptist women’s basketball team to an 85-75 victory over Utah Valley in a Western Athletic Conference matchup Saturday at the UCCU Center. The Lancers, who improved to 13-8 overall, used a 25-point third period to break open a tight game and withstand a 31-point performance from Utah Valley’s Amanda Barcello.
